How many times has someone said to you "Never Give Up?"
I have to tell you. This is something that I have struggled with over the years. You don't know how many times I have said to myself. "If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all." I know there are so many people out there that feel the same way.
I was to the point in my life that when my dad was fixing things in my house, that I would literally have to leave the room until he finished. When I stayed in the room, he just couldn't fix it. Is that karma or what?
I lost all hope and faith. I was completely lost. I would wander endlessly around the house like a lost soul. I was a single mother at the time with three daughter's. They were all grown and in University. I was to the point in my life where I saw no reason for being. If that makes any sense?
One morning I woke up and realized that feeling this way was not acceptable. Something had to be done. I had to change my ways, change my life, make things happen and soon. I wasn't any good to myself or anyone around me.
I remember sitting outside and telling myself over and over again "Have patience, put a smile on your face and live through this pain." Tough times happen to all of us and it doesn't matter how strong, powerful or confident we are. It just happens, but what we do with it is what counts. Really what it comes down to is our thoughts. They are responsible for whatever place or situation we are in right now.
I have heard so many times mind over matter, but never knew the true meaning. Our mind is a very powerful thing. It is energy like the electricity that drives the motor of a car. Master your mind and you become unbeatable.
Keep your head high, believe in yourself and face life head on. Do this and your tough times won't stand a chance.
I would really like to hear some feedback. Sometimes I wonder if anyone is actually reading this or if what I am writing is even worthwhile.
Utilize the power of positive thinking. Put it work people and see how much your life will change.
Till the next time.
